GEODIS Industrial Projects has
implemented a new organizational
model to strengthen its commit-
ment to continuous improvement.
The new IP Coordinator – Paola
Luisa Colombo – has been with
GEODIS since 2006, and exem-
plifies the increased presence of
female leaders across the entire
GEODIS organization.
This new model provides a variety
of customer benefits. These include
streamlined staff for increased effi-
ciency and enhanced security solutions to respond
even better during critical periods. A new and care-
fully defined six-step approach to improved busi-
ness continuity is also now in operation, as the or-
ganization 1) anticipates risk, 2) assesses the risk,
3) protects technical systems, 4) develops smart
working processes, 5) educates and trains staff,
and 6) ensures continuous updates.
In parallel, the organization’s new Business Pro-
cess Management approach has improved data
control, project management and collaboration

between teams – all of which are dedicated to a
clear customer focus to enhance their supply chain
activities.
