years ago, our ambition has been to provide cli-
ents with the best service and highest quality in
the industry. Our foundation is knowledge, dec-
ades of experience and dedicated employees.
Today, Blue Water has 1,750 employees and is
represented with more than 60 offices world-
wide. In every Blue Water office we combine
our strong global network with local expertise
– thus adding value and providing our clients
with services beyond transporting cargo in a
safe and efficient way.
We must be close to the clients, continue the
positive development of the Energy & Projects
business unit of Blue Water and support the in-
ternational organisation on ongoing projects”.
What are your main goals, what is your
strategy now?
“Blue Water has a strong global track record
when it comes to Energy & Projects. I am con-
fident that we can develop positively in Italy,
as the market demands experienced logistics
partners for these types of transport. And Blue
Water has a strong set-up with in-house experts
to handle both operation and management of
complex transport assignments.
Our focus in Italy is to service current clients
and to win new clients and projects, for which
we can add value for our clients.
We must grow the business and continue to
provide high-quality solutions to our clients.
And we need to extend our involvement in pro-
jects and take on more scope”.
Which critical factors of success do you
see ahead of you?
“We must be able to provide our clients with the
right service. It is not enough to deliver cargo
from A to B. We will take a bigger share in each
project – and project management has become
a more vital part of our scope of work. These
are factors that will help the clients, as we can
handle the entire logistics flow”.
Given the current scenario with the Corona
virus and all its consequences, how do you
see the immediate, short-term future?
“There has been a big slowdown/lockdown of low oil price can affect the level of business in
activities. But many projects continue – and the coming months.
the activity level for Energy & Projects has been Therefore, our job is to win more market shares
high the last few months. We expect that the in Italy”.
