Guido Micheli

                                 Guido Micheli, Politecnico di Milano - School of Management. Graduated in mechanical engineering and with a PhD
                                 in management engineering, he serves as Associate Professor of Design and Management of Industrial Plants at
                                 Politecnico di Milano, and as co-director of the international specialising Master iMSCPM (Master in Supply Chain
                                 and Purchasing Management) at the POLIMI Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the IPMA Italy
                                 Steering Committee, and is the author of more than 130 publications at national and international level on books,
                                 conference proceedings and journals.

                                 Andrea Martino


                                 Andrea Martino, Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a
                                 three-year degree in Industrial Production Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. He currently works as Product
                                 Industrialization Manager at Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems based in Stockholm. He has previously gained work
                                 experience both as a mechanical designer and as a production engineer in companies of different sizes, sectors and
                                 products. In addition to industrial and manufacturing technologies, he has skills and interests in project management.



                                 Francesca Porta

                                 Francesca Porta, Senior Manager, Accenture. Graduated in Environmental Engineering, she has been advising main
                                 players in the energy industry on company reinvention and business transformation. Her focus has been on EPC
                                 contractors specifically on organizational and operational models evolution. She has been driving projects on work-
                                 force planning / workload management.



                                 Arianna Cravello

                                 Arianna Cravello, Tecnimont Spa. Graduated in Tourism Sciences at the IULM University of Languages   and

                                 Communication in Milan, she has been working at Tecnimont since 2006 where, after several years as Cost Control
                                 and Project Control Process & System Engineer, in 2019 she assumed responsibility for the Workload department
                                 both in the parent company Maire Tecnimont and Tecnimont. In 2020, in collaboration with ANIMP, Politecnico di
                                 Milano and Accenture, she promoted a benchmarking initiative on the Workforce Planning process which was joined
                                 by some of the leading companies in the sector such as Saipem, Baker Huges and Wood.

                                 Max Panaro


                                 Max Panaro, Tecnimont Spa. Graduated in Management Engineering (Politecnico Milano), Master in Business
                                 Administration (Bocconi), he worked in the USA in a manufacturing company and in an organizational research and
                                 consultancy company until 2000, then in T-Systems Italia (Deutsche Telekom group) as Business Development &
                                 Planning Manager - BPO Operations until 2006. From 2006 to 2015 he worked in Bain & Company and Boston
                                 Consulting Group (Core Member of the Global Oil and Gas Practice) acquiring skills in the management of large
                                 investment projects of oil companies / EPC contractor . Since 2015 he has been working in Maire Tecnimont as
                                 Organization, IT & System Quality VP. Since 2018 he has been President of IPMA Italia.

                                 Antonio Calabrese


                                 Antonio Calabrese, Politecnico di Milano - School of Management. He is an Associate Professor of Industrial Plant
                                 Management and Industrial Plants at the Politecnico di Milano and Director of the International Executive Master in
                                 Project Management. Former MBA & EMBA and Corporate Education Director of Polimi GSOM, he collaborates with
                                 universities in Europe and China, is a member of the IPMA Advisory Committee and of the Steering Committee of IPMA
                                 Italy. He is the International Academic Advisor of the PM World Journal. In industrial and management engineering he
                                 is interested in project, program and portfolio management with particular regard to strategic and risk management,
                                 planning and control, stakeholder management and the impact of cultural differences in project management.

               La pianificazione della forza lavoro – workforce planning (WFP) – è diventata una parte cruciale della governance delle organizzazioni orientate al
               progetto ed è considerata fondamentale per guidare decisioni critiche sulla gestione delle risorse. Per affrontare tale tematica, le aziende hanno
               sviluppato autonomamente procedure interne in base al proprio settore, dimensione e competenze, ottenendo risultati eterogenei. Questo studio
               ha lo scopo di indagare le attuali conoscenze sul WFP puntando al riconoscimento delle sue caratteristiche chiave, e di costruire su quest’ultime

               una linea guida di alto livello tale da essere considerata generalmente valida in organizzazioni orientate al progetto.
